JusExcon, 'justin', or 'D3' is a
sixth grader, who knows simple Python. He currently has a project,
named "py-text-editor". It aims to be a text editor, made in python.
The text editor is run from the command line. JusExcon, loves to code,
depending on the date. Sometimes, he becomes bored of doing it, and
just browses the web.
This is what he says about the
hackers you see on the news : "Those people... they are the future
dumbos of the world. Most people don't do what they do. Some of them,
after they do this, they just go on with their lives as a normal
person. Other people however, will continue doing this. The people of
the REAL hacking community call these people 'crackers'. The crackers
are usually adolesents, 12 yrs. old. They are the people who do this,
because they want to be 'cool'. They are not, they are just making
fools of themselves. Some do it for a reason... a purpose, you may say.
Others do it for reasons said before. As said in the documentary "How to become a hacker There
is a community, a shared culture, of expert programmers and networking
wizards that traces its history back through decades to the first
time-sharing minicomputers and the earliest ARPAnet experiments. The
members of this culture originated the term ‘hacker’. Hackers built
the Internet. Hackers made the Unix operating system what it is today.
Hackers run Usenet. Hackers make the World Wide Web work. If you are
part of this culture, if you have contributed to it and other people in
it know who you are and call you a hacker, you're a hacker.
Hackers you hear about in the news are crackers. Remember that.
